The Text: 'There are four Option Sets that come with NameCleaner. These can be used once NameCleaner is registered, otherwise the settings have to be entered manually:
• Remove ‘alias’ — This removes the word ' alias' so that a large batch of aliases created with the Finder 'Make Alias' command can be given the originals' names.
• PC to Macintosh — This converts common DOS file extensions (e.g. DOC, EPS, RTF, XLS, TXT) to the correct Mac type, and appends a descriptive suffix.
• Macintosh to DOS, Win95 — This converts common Mac file types to files with the correct PC extension, and filters file names as necessary.'
